Drummond Drainage Project begins with blacktop, staircases
DRUMMOND - Drummond Schools finally got its Drainage Project under way this week, tearing out the blacktop basketball courts and the two staircases that lead away from them.
The project is part of a school-wide project to help redirect water during the rainy season. At present, much of this water pools in areas near buildings and creates ice hazards that are becoming more dangerous each year.
The work being done will be completed before school opens for the sporting seasons August 10, 2018.
