BREAKING: 3.7 quake rattles Whitehall
A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was registered Monday evening by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The temblor, which had its epicenter approximately 25 miles south of Whitehall, Montana, was recorded at 9:56 p.m. It had a depth of 7.8 kilometers. No immediate damage or injuries werfe reported.
The shock is one of the strongest recorded in recent months. The strongest was last year when a 5.8 magnitude quake hit Lincoln, MT on July 6, 2017.
