BREAKING: Search & Rescue dispatched to search for missing hiker
GRANITE COUNTY - The Granite County Sheriff's office dispatched the Search & Rescue team this afternoon is search of a missing hiker.
According to a report posted on the Granite County Sheriff's Department Facebook Page, the Search and Rescue crew was sent to the Tamarack Lake area of the Pintler Wilderness to look for a Washington State man. The man suffers from the early stages of dementia and has become separated from his hiking party.
Granite County crews and Forest Service personnel, assisted by the aid of Two Bear Air, are actively searching the area.
