Lady Trojans stumble at Charlo
CHARLO – The Drummond volleyball team took to the road this week, landing in Charlo and ending up on the wrong side of a 25-11, 25-12, 25-15 score.
Despite the score margins, Head Coach Shona Bradshaw was happy with the way her Lady Trojans played. “I am proud of them,” she said. “We kept fighting for every point.”
Drummond managed just 11 kills in the match, with Donna Seekell, Hailey Swarengen, Hannah Bradshaw, Rylee Hilmo and Sydney Phillips getting two apiece. Swarengen, Phillips and Sara Kielley each had one service ace, while Swarengen and Kielley had 10 digs apiece.
The Lady Trojans will have the rest of the week to regroup before heading to the Manhattan Christian Tournament Saturday.
