Drummond downs Sheridan on the road
SHERIDAN – The Lady Trojans continued to fine tune as they head for the District plat at the end of the season, beating the Panthers at Sheridan 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.
“I am happy with the progress that we are making,” said Lady Trojan Head Coach Shona Bradshaw. “The girls are playing well together.”
Sara Kielley and Sydney Phillips dominated the stat sheet. Kielley led in service aces (6) and assists (10) and chipped in seven digs. Phillips led in Kills (9) and blocks (5).
Rylee Hilmo led in digs with nine and found her way into the team leaders in aces (4) and assists (4).
The Lady Trojans return from their two-week road trip to Drummond Thursday when they host the Bear of Lima. First serve is slated for 5:30 p.m.
