Drummond VB steps up to play Class B Wardens
DEER LODGE – Drummond suffered a loss to the Powell County Wardens Monday night, stepping up to play a tough Class B foe as they tune up for the Class C District Tournament October 25-26 at Manhattan Christian.
“We made a few mistakes, but we never gave up and kept fighting,” said Drummond Head Coach Shona Bradshaw.
Senior Sara Kielley led the Lady Trojans in three of the five stat categories, collecting three aces, nine digs and seven assists. Hannah Bradshaw led in kills with seven and Sydney Phillips collected a pair of blocks.
Drummond will turn around and head straight to Philipsburg Tuesday for their regular-season finale against the Lady Prospectors. The game will be Senior Night for Granite and will also honor Liz Hill in a ‘Wear Pink for Liz’ night.
