Thompson Park Closed for the Season
Butte, Mont., Nov. 2, 2018 — Beginning Nov. 1, the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest and Butte-Silver Bow closed the gates at Thompson Park for the season. The park gates will reopen May 1 for the summer season.
The visitors to this area may park at the highway entrances and continue to walk in for recreation purposes. During this time maintenance services will not be provided at any of the developed sites within the park boundary. Visitors should plan to "Pack In and Pack Out" everything they may bring with them. Park visitors are also reminded that the discharge of firearms or other implements inside the Park boundaries is prohibited.
