Trojan women, men falter at Seeley Swan
SEELEY SWAN – The Trojan men and women fell in their season openers at Seeley Swan Friday night.
The Lady Trojans stayed close throughout their match up, but the Blackhawks edged Drummond in each of the first three periods to earn the six-point win.
Three Lady Trojans found their way into double figures, led by Riley Hilmo with 14. Sophia de Santiago scored 11 and Sydney Phillips 10 to round out the trio.
Drummond returns home for a pair of games this week, hosting Harrison-Willow Creek on Friday and Victor on Saturday.

Jesse Struna had nine to lead the Lady Trojan JV, while teammates Holly Hauptman and Bradshaw added three and two, respectively.

The Blackhawks’ big first half gave them enough of a cushion to hold off the Trojans down the stretch.
Senior Jonah Parke led all scorers in the game with 20 points, while Luke Holland had 12 and Wyatt Rigby 11.
