Prospector men, women make it two straight in Lima
LIMA – The Granite Lady Prospectors earned their second win in a row Saturday, beating the Bears in Lima 47-17.
Granite held a slim 8-7 lead after one period, but extended it to 13 by halftime on the back of senior Sara Goff’s 14 second quarter points. Goff had hit a two-point bucket before nailing four three-pointers in the period.
Goff’s 14 were backed up by teammate Emma Grange who spread who 14 points over the course of the game.
Granite will return home Tuesday for a matchup against county rival Drummond. The night will feature four games with the girls’ JV kicking off the action at 2:30 p.m.

The Prospector men reeled off their second straight win on the road over the Bears.
Granite held a 13-point lead at halftime but blew the game open with a 23-9 run in the third.
Jaxon Lee led all scorers in the game with 19 while Daniel Brabender added 14.
