OCI Yearbook Project: Archiving High School Memories. In the past, we had Drummond’s 1946 - 2014 digitized. We are sending another batch of yearbooks to update our digital collection. They are currently viewable on the Montana Memory Project, but we are missing the years listed below. Please check to see if you happen to have the following yearbooks. Once they are scanned, they will be returned to you. Yearbooks: 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1998.
Purple Out! The Longest Day. “the day with the most light is the day we choose to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s.” In an effort to raise awareness for Alzheimer's and Dementia, Drummond students painted the town purple! Prizes were given out in a drawing for students who answered trivia questions and dressed in purple. Some students won t-shirts, pencils, pens, temporary tattoos, and licorice. The Senior class won the contest with the most participants wearing purple. Parker’s Cafe donated coupons for a scoop of huckleberry ice cream! The first 50 people wearing purple to the Granite/DHS basketball game were given purple wristbands.
Please join us on Monday, January 29th at 1:30 pm to plan for future events and support our friends and neighbors with memory loss.
