UPDATED: County schools, Helmville issue a delay for classes on Monday

GRANITE COUNTY – All four area schools have declared delayed openings for school tomorrow, Feb. 4, 2019.
Drummond Schools, Philipsburg Schools and Helmville Schools have all issued a two-hour delay to the start of school Monday due to snowy conditions that will likely persist into Tuesday. Hall school has posted that it will begin at 10 a.m. The delays were all relayed to the Flint Creek Courier via a teacher, administrator or automated system from each school.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for most of Granite County, with areas expected to receive between 5-11 inches of new snowfall over the next 24-36 hours.
