Five area players named to Southwest Montana All-Star Basketball Classic rosters
HELENA – Three Trojans and two Prospectors were named as participants in the Southwest Montana All-Star Basketball Classic. The game is set for Tuesday, March 12, at the Maroon Activities Center in Butte with the girls tipping off at 6 p.m. and the boys at 7:30.
Drummond Senior Sara Kielley and Granite Junior Emma Grange were named to the Treasure State girls team, headed by Ennis coaches Jared Smithson and Cole Cavan. Also named to the team as alternates were the Lady Prospectors’ Sarah Goff and Sydney Phillips and Rylee Hilmo from the Lady Trojans.
The Treasure State boys team, which is coached by Jordan Overstreet and Mady Speck, will consist of locals Jonah Parke and Luke Holland of Drummond and Kade Cutler of Granite. Trojans Riley Allen and Damian Pool were tabbed as alternates for the squad.
