PUBLIC NOTICE Granite County Planning Board
The Granite County Planning Board will continue the public hearing on proposed amendments to the Philipsburg Section (Appendix E ) of the Granite County Growth Policy submitted by the Philipsburg Town Council. This public hearing will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., in the Granite County Courthouse Courtroom, 220 N. Sansome, Philipsburg, Montana. Generally, the proposed amendments address the growth management for the Town of Philipsburg, including infrastructure, historical preservation, economic development, community services, and land use, including the potential for establishing a zoning district for the Town. The full text of the proposed amendments may be found on Granite County’s web site at www.co.granite.mt.us under the Planning Tab, Growth Policy. Printed copies may be obtained at the Planning Department or the Clerk and Recorder’s Office in the Granite County Courthouse in Philipsburg. An electronic copy may be requested by emailing gcplanning@co.granite.mt.us.
Public comments are welcome and encouraged at the public hearing. Prior to the hearing, written comments may be submitted to the Granite County Planning Department, P.O.
