Accident along Drummond Frontage Road proves fatal

DRUMMOND – The Granite County Sheriff’s Department is reporting a fatal car crash that occurred along the Drummond Frontage Road Saturday night.

According to the sheriff’s report, the accident happened west of Drummond just before 5 p.m. Speed appears to be a factor in the accident in the preliminary investigation. The Sheriff’s Office and the Montana Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate.

The name of the victim is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
