Drummond changes monthly school board meeting

DRUMMOND - Drummond Schools has changed the date of its monthly school board meeting.

According to a post to the school's booster page on Facebook, the change was necessary due to out of state travel by Superintendent Christina Barbachano.

The post read as follows:

Please make a note of an important date change for our upcoming Board Meeting. It has been changed to Thursday, August 15th (from its typical second Monday of the month schedule).

There are essentially two Board Meetings; the first meeting is a Work Session for the Board and the Superintendent to begin the process of identifying annual goals and reviewing the goals from the previous year. This meeting begins at 5 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

The Regular School Board Meeting, which is also the annual budget meeting, is scheduled for 6 p.m. Both meetings will take place in the FCS room at Drummond High School. This is a typical public meeting open to the public.

Sorry for the change, it is due to the Superintendent's out fo state travel.
