Drummond Girls roll into postseason with win at Valley

MISSOULA – The Lady Trojans claimed a 53-30 win over the Valley Christian Eagles Saturday night as they head into the postseason in third place in the District 13 standings.

Senior Deana Parke scored 16 of her game-high 21 points in the first half to help Drummond take a commanding 34-20 lead. The locals added a 13-1 third quarter run to secure the victory.

Also scoring in double figures for Drummond was Holly Hauptman with 11.

The Lady Trojans will open the District 13 playoffs Tuesday against Darby at a time to be determined.
