Granite girls stay in step with sweep at Sheridan

SHERIDAN – The Granite Lady Prospectors are hitting their stride as they head into Saturday’s Sheridan Tournament, sweeping the Lady Panthers 3-0 Thursday in a tune up for the event.

“The girls are starting to trust one another in their individual jobs,” said GHS Head Coach Kaley Hansen, “so we are able to spread some of these stats out among a few girls and work together for the win.”

And spread they did. Montannah Piar had a team best 13 kills at the net with Ella Tallon dishing most of her 14 assists to her. Addi Lilyquist led on defense with 10 digs while Ramsey Smith hammered 10 service aces.

Granite will be back in Sheridan Saturday for tournament play with game times and opponents yet to be determined.
