Granite Netters gain experience against Loyola, Valley Christian

PHILIPSBURG – The Granite Lady Prospector Tennis team clashed with visiting Loyola and Valley Christian Tuesday in the Philipsburg Triangular.

Lavinia Tenesch and Maya Flores were victorious in their matches against Breakers player. Flores defeated Mikinley Deschamps 6-1, 6-2 while Tenesch won a trio of sets from Olivia Wamsley 6-4, 7-5, 10-4. Marina Flores and Terese Bahr fell in two sets to Silvie VonDorsten and Tammy Nguyen 6-2, 7-5.

Against Eagle players Maya Flores fell 6-1, 6-4 while the doubles team of Flores and Bahr fell to Molly Harvey and Patience Lorenz6-5, 6-2.

Tenesch’s singles match was rained out.

Granite plays next at the Dawg Bite Tournament in Helena.
