Granite’s senior trio scores at Hamilton meet

HAMILTON – The Granite Prospectors kicked off the spring season with a track meet in Hamilton Thursday.

Seniors Destin Linn and Mason Palen led the way each placing in three events. Linn garnered the top finish of the day claiming third in the 110m Hurdles in a personal best time of 19.19. Linn also finished 27th in 200m (28.17), 31st in the 100m (13.51) and 19th in the Shot Put (36-01 PR)

Palen’s top finish was six in the 200m run with a personal best of 25.21, also grabbing 10th in the 400m (57.26 PR) and Long Jump (16-04.00 PR).

Mason Graeff competed in the strength events, finishing 22nd in the Shot Put with a personal best throw of 33-06 and 30th in the Discus with a distance of 76-10.
