Granite snake bit by Copperheads
ANACONDA – Playing up a class is a great way to gain experience on the hardwood, but sometimes it comes with a cost. Such was the case Tuesday night as both the Granite Boys and Girls suffered losses at the hands of their Anaconda counterparts.

Anaconda 80, Granite 43
The Prospectors were able to pace their hosts through one period, but Anaconda went on a 27-11 run in the second to salt the game away.
Andrew Tallon scored a team-high 18 with Cavan Babbitt chipping in 12.
Granite will host Valley Christian Saturday in Philipsburg. That game is set to be broadcast on the NFHS Network.
