Granite sweeps past Seeley Swan and into Winner’s Bracket finale

PABLO – The Lady Prospectors kept their eye on the prize Friday at the District 13C Volleyball Tournament at Salish Kootenai College in Pablo. Their 3-0 sweep of Seeley Swan puts them into the Winner’s Bracket Finale, one game of clinching a trip to the Western Divisional.

They will face the winner of the Drummond-Charlo match Friday at 1:30 p.m.

The opening set was played close all the way to the end, with Granite pulling away late to win 25-21. Set two saw the Lady Prospectors start to assert their No. 1 ranking, winning by 10 points. The third set was all Granite’s as they won the match easily.

Montannah Piar (9) and Addi Lilyquist (8) led in kills and each also collected a pair of blocks. Ella Tallon dished 19 assists and had a team-best seven service aces.
