Granite sweeps Sheridan on the road

SHERIDAN – In a trio of tight sets the Lady Prospectors swept the Panthers in Sheridan Tuesday night, 25-29, 25-19, 25-21.

“The girls came out excited to get to play,” said GHS Head Coach Kaley Hansen. “We had a weird week last week and I think they were just happy to be back on the court and it showed. They played strong offense and worked together.”

Ella Tallon handed out a team-high seven assists and Asha Comings had that many kills to lead Granite. Reece Pitcher logged 5.5 blocks and she tied with teammates Ward and Comings with two aces each at the back line.

The Lady Prospectors will return home Thursday against Charlo at 5:30 p.m. and then play their Homecoming match Saturday at 1:30 p.m. against Victor. Both matches will be broadcast on the NFHS Network.
