Granite takes Seeley in three, locks up second in district
SEELEY LAKE – The Lady Prospectors swept Seeley Swan Tuesday, and thus locked up second place in District 13C play. They will enter the district’s postseason tournament with a first-round bye.
“It wasn’t always the prettiest volleyball played,” said GHS Head Coach Kaley Hansen, “but the girls stayed positive.”
Montannah Piar led at the attack at the net with nine kills and a block, while Addi Lilyquist was close behind with seven spikes and two blocks. Ella Tallon had another big night at her setter position, dishing 24 assists.
The Lady Prospectors play next at Superior as they prep for the district tournament starting October 26 at Valley Christian in Missoula.
