The Lady Prospectors presented a staunch defense to the visiting Lady Falcons in the second quarter, hitting halftime with an 18-8 lead they would never relinquish.
While some of the other leading scorers had an off night, senior Asha Comings picked up the slack and led the way with 16 points. Gretchen Hill added seven points and Ramsey Smith six.
The Lady Prospectors will now get ready for the District 13C Tournament that will start Thursday, Feb. 17, when they face No. 7 Lincoln in the first round.

It took the Prospector scorers a half to get going, but when they did they proved they could play with one of the better teams in the state of Montana.
“First and second quarter we couldn't really hit anything, offensively we were in a bit of a rut,” said GHS Head Coach Mindy Avila. “Second half we were finally able to get close and play with some intensity and tightened up on defense. I think we're moving in the right direction.”
Andrew Tallon scored a game-high 23 points for Granite, 21 in the second half. Hayden Mason was also in double figures with 14.
The Prospectors finish in sixth place and will play third-place Seeley Swan Thursday at 6:45 p.m. in the opening round of the District 13C Tournament.
