Lady Prospectors close regular season with loss at Manhattan Christian

MANHATTAN – The Granite Lady Prospectors closed their ’24-’25 season Saturday with a road game at Manhattan Christian, falling to the Lady Eagles, 53-39.
The Lady Eagles led from the opening tip and never looked back.
During a postgame interview last week with GHS Head Coach Cash Laslovich she noted that the experience would do her team well heading into the postseason.
Montanah Piar led Granite with 18 points while Addi Lilyquist chipped in 14 and eight rebounds. Ramsey Smith was the only other scorer with seven points.
The Lady Prospectors finished 6th in District 13C play with a record of 7-4 and will face No. 11 Noxon (2-9) Wednesday in a play-in game. The contest will take place at 10:45 a.m. in the Frenchtown Middle School gymnasium.
Should they win, their next opponent would be determined by the other victorious teams in the play-in games seeded against the four teams that made the bracket outright.
A loss would end their season.
