Lady Prospectors ground Lady Eagles on the road
MISSOULA – Granite is back on track to stay the No. 2 team in District 13C play, sweeping Valley Christian in Missoula, 3-0. The win elevates the Lady Prospectors to 3-1 in D13C play.
Granite had to buckle down to win a close opening set, 25-23, before moving on to somewhat easier victories in sets two and three.
It was a breakout match for sophomore Addi Lilyquist, who led the Lady Prospectors as she notched eight kills, four blocks, nine digs and four service aces. Montannah Piar had a whopping eight blocks at the net to go along with five kills, and ace and an assist. Ramsay Smith was tops in digs with 15 and had 5 kills and a pair of blocks.
Granite returns home to round out its first slate of D13C games Tuesday when they host Lincoln.
