Lady Prospectors notch first district win at Darby
DARBY – The Granite Lady Prospectors worked their way into the win column Tuesday night, claiming a 25-17, 25-20, 27-25 victory from the Tigers.
“We definitely didn't play our best but we are getting ready for Thursday,” sophomore setter Ella Tallon.
“It was a rough three sets, but we came through in the end,” added GHS Head Coach Kayley “We have some work to do on communicating at practice tomorrow.”
It was a team effort as five different Lady Prospectors led the statistical categories. Senior Lucia Lee had a team-best eight kills while fellow senior Gretchen Hill had three blocks. Tallon got into double figures in assists with 10, while Montannah Piar added nine digs and Kyla Reisenauer had four aces.
Granite will get a good test on Thursday when they host the Lady Blackhawks of Seeley Swan.
