Lady Prospectors scuttle Victor in their home port

VICTOR – The Lady Pirates of Victor proved to be no match for visiting Granite Saturday night as the Lady Prospectors posted a 58-18 victory.

The win improves Granite to 5-0 in District 13C play, alone atop the standings ahead of Drummond at 3-1.

The Lady Prospectors opened with a 13-2 first-quarter run, maintaining both paces the entire game.

All seven players that Granite took with them found their way into the scorebook, led by Montannah Piar’s 21 points, five assists and five steals. Ramsey Smith added 16 points, seven assists and six steals. Addi Lilyquist had 12 rebounds to go with her eight points.

The Granite boys fell to the Victor Pirates 51-32.

Granite will host Seeley Swan Tuesday as they begin the second round of District 13C play.
