Lady Prospectors sink Pirates with 40-point salvo

VICTOR – The Lady Prospectors kept their late-season surge going Thursday with an easy 61-21 win over Victor on the road. Granite closes out the regular season Saturday against the Falcons of Twin Bridges.

The Lady Prospecto5rs got out of the gate fast and put their foot on the gas, outscoring the Pirates 19-6 in the opening stanza. They matched that production in the second (17-6) and third (20-5) quarters to put the game well out of reach.

Three Granite girls found their way into double figures with Asha Comings leading the charge at 15 points. Amelia Hill added 11 and Reece Pitcher had 10.
