Lady Prospectors sweep Lincoln in district opener

LINCOLN – It was an easy way to open their 2022 District 13 schedule, claiming a 3-0 victory over the Lynx in Lincoln, 25-9, 25-17, 25-19.

“We didn't play to our potential but we had a lot of fun on the court and got the win,” said senior Lucia Lee, who led Granite with four assists on the night.

Sophomore Ramsey Smith was tops in kills with four, digs with three, and service aces with seven.

The Lady Prospectors will head to the Cascade Tournament this weekend to pick up more experience as they head into a pair of tough matchest next week against Valley Christian Tuesday (home) and Drummond Thursday (away). Both games will be broadcast by the Flint Creek Courier on the NFHS Network.
