Lady Prospectors take down Eagles in Missoula
MISSOULA – The Granite Lady Prospectors stayed on a roll, beating the Lady Eagles at Valley Christian, 48-36.
“We started off a little slow and turned it around in the second half,” said GHS Head Coach Cash Laslovich. “Montannah (Piar) and Ramsey (Smith) tied for 19 points and Addie Lilyquist stepped up with five points and 16 rebounds! Emily White came off the bench and was aggressive making plays happen.”
Valley held a 23-18 lead at halftime, but adjustments made by Laslovich got Granite headed in the right direction. They outscored the Lady Eagles 15-9 in the second and 15-4 in the fourth to secure the win.
The victory is Granite’s third straight in D13C play, with their only loss coming at the hands of Class B Anaconda.
Granite will host Seeley Swan Saturday night in Philipsburg.
