Lady Prospectors tame Tigers in St. Regis

ST. REGIS – Two days after earning a five-set win over Valley Christian, the Granite Lady Prospectors were back in form as they swept the Lady Tigers in St. Regis, 25-13, 25-15, 25-15.

The victory keeps Granite perfect in district play at 4-0.

“The difference between today and Thursday was 100% focus,” said GHS Head Coach Kaley Hansen. “I was guilty of it too on Thursday, but today I made sure to remind the girls to stay focused and they executed that throughout the entire game.”

Ella Tallon made sure her team was in sync with a match best 23 assists. Recipients of her generosity were Montannah Piar with nine kills, Addison Spehar with six and Ramsey Smith and Allison Benson with five apiece. Benson, Tallon, and Piar had two aces each.

The Lady Prospectors get a few days off before facing Lincoln Thursday at home.
