Lady Trojans best Powell County

DRUMMOND – Drummond held the visiting Wardens scoreless in the opening period on their way to a 25-point win Tuesday at home, 46-21.

“The girls played a great game. I really liked how they played defense tonight,” said DHS Head Coach Nate Bignell of the win. “They keep getting better and better.”

Powell County tried fighting back to trail 17-9 at halftime, but a 14-6 run after the break by the Lady Trojans put the game well out of reach.

Sophomores Jesse Struna and Holly Hauptman led the attack with 17 and 14 points, respectively.
