Lady Trojans close out regular season with win at Noxon

NOXON – In their final tune-up for the upcoming District 13C Tournament, the Drummond Lady Trojans beat Noxon on the road, 3-1.

Drummond finished district play last week with a perfect 10-0 mark and will have the No. 1 seed going into the tournament. That gives them a first round bye and they will face the winner of the Valley Christian (4) vs Lincoln (5) in the Winner’s Bracket Semifinal.

The match opened with the Lady Red Devils earning a 25-22 win in set one. The Lady Trojan rallied to sweep the next three sets and secure the victory.

Kimber Parsons and Delaney Wagner shared top honors at the net with 11 kills and two blocks each. Anna Kate Sawfer had 17 assists while Lexi Nelson led in aces (4) and digs (13).
