Lady Trojans don’t need no stinkin’ Badgers, sweep Cascade in season finale
CASCADE – The Lady Trojans capped their 2024 regular season volleyball schedule with a three-game sweep of the Lady Badgers in Cascade Saturday. The match was a no-district contest and was a tune up for the postseason which begins Thursday for Drummond.
Remington Cline led all attackers in the match with nine kills, followed closely by Kimber Parsons with seven and Hazel Sawfer with five. Charlee Cline dished out a team-best 18 assists and had two blocks at the net. Brooke Hicks had six service aces and was the top defender with 15 digs.
The Lady Trojans are seeded No. 2 in the District 13C Volleyball Tournament taking place at the Salish Kootenai College Gymnasium. Drummond will play the second-lowest available seeded team after Wednesday’s play-in games. No. 1 seed Granite gets the lowest.
