Lady Trojans open ’23 season with victory over Seeley Swan

DRUMMOND – Drummond’s Lady Trojans opened their 2023 season with District 13C foe Seeley Swan and earned their first win with a 25-10, 25-12, 25-10 victory over the Lady Blackhawks.

Drummond dominated the match from start to finish, highlighted by the 21-8 margin in kills and 16-4 in service aces.

The offense was equally distributed with Kimber Parsons getting six kills and Bailey Parke, Delaney Wagner, and Remington Cline each earning five. Lexi Nelson had 19 assists and six service aces, while Brooke Hicks, Parke and Wagner each led on defense with seven digs apiece.

The Lady Trojans will get their first real test of the season Thursday when they host Valley Christian.
