Lady Trojans sweep Bears

DRUMMOND – The Lady Trojans made short work of the visiting Bears Saturday, 25-8, 25-13, 25-17.

“Our girls are starting to serve more consistently, cover better and are working together better as a unit,” said DHS Head Coach Brooks Phillips. “Now that they’re starting to move as one, we can start working in some more advanced plays.”

Hannah Bradshaw led the Lady Trojans with 10 kills, followed closely by Sydney Phillips with seven. Bradshaw, Phillips and Deana Parke each had five aces.

After a busy week Drummond will get some time off before hosting Seeley Swan Thursday.
