Lady Trojans take Twin Bridges in three straight
TWIN BRIDGES – Drummond volleyball was on the road in Twin Bridges Thursday night, notching a three-game sweep of the Falcons 25-22, 25-15, 25-20.
The scoring was close in the opener until Sydney Phillips stepped to the service line and rattled off seven points that included a pair of aces. She also helped the Lady Trojans run away in Game 2, serving point eight through 17 with four more aces and her way to a team-best 10 for the night.
Phillips was also tops for Drummond in kills with 10 and added 11 defensive digs to complete a triple-double. Rylee Hilmo had 18 assists, Holly Hauptman collected a trio of blocks and Hanna Bradshaw led at defenders with a dozen digs.
The Lady Trojans will close out the regular season at Lima Saturday before heading to the district tournament back in Twin Bridges starting October 31.
