Road Work continues near Drummond on I90

DRUMMOND, Mont. - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT),
along with construction partner Riverside Contracting Inc., will begin seal and
cover (chip seal) and fog seal activities on Interstate 90 (I 90). The project
begins at the Drummond Interchange and continues east for approximately 22
miles, ending at the Gold Creek Interchange.
The work is scheduled to begin August 15, weather permitting, and is
anticipated to last for approximately four weeks. Crews will be working from 7
a.m. to 8 p.m. The purpose of this maintenance project is to extend the service
life of the roadway.
Expect 10 to 15-minute delays, reduced speeds, and single-lane traffic when
traveling through the project area. Traffic may be routed onto the interstate
shoulder when work is occurring. For the most up-to-date width restrictions
