Sales Contractors sought by the Flint Creek Courier
COUNTY - The Flint Creek Courier – Granite County’s fastest, most reliable source for sports, events, news and weather – is seeking Independent Sales Contractors.
Qualified candidates will work independently to assist businesses in reaching their advertising goals using the Flint Creek Courier’s digital platform and resources. Solicitation area is primarily Granite County, with additional sales opportunities in Powell, Anaconda-Deer Lodge, Missoula and Silver Bow counties.
Those becoming part of the Flint Creek Courier team as an Independent Sales Contractor will work days and hours are that are set by themselves. Monthly pay rate is determined solely by the candidate’s desire to succeed.
Candidates will need to become familiar with the Flint Creek Courier’s products and philosophies to communicate them accurately to business owners.
Job Requirements
Possession of a current, valid Montana Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate or proof of a current, valid, privately purchased Montana Worker’s Compensation Insurance policy.
Own/Access to a reliable vehicle
Own/Access to a computer with Internet access
PayPal Account (used for commission payments)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Sales Experience on digital platforms or traditional media (print, radio, television, etc.)
Copywriting Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs
Other preferred skills include:
Familiarity with social media advertising campaigns
Own/Access to Adobe Photoshop or compatible image editing software
Understand RGB color use in digital advertising
Position Details
Employment is on a contract basis only. Commission rate dependent on experience and skill set.
No benefit packages are inferred or implied.
All pay is on a commission basis and lasts the length of any completed contracts with advertisers for the Flint Creek Courier.
