Three Forks downs Drummond in road opener
THREE FORKS – It was a tough night for Drummond basketball Friday night as both the Trojans and Lady Trojans fell to Three Forks.
BOYS VARSITY
Three Forks 62, Drummond 24
The Wolves jumped out to a 23-5 lead after one quarter and never looked back.
Drummond’s Michael James was his team’s leading scorer with nine points while Dalton Suthers added six.
The Trojans will return home Dec. 19 to host Anaconda to close out the 2024 portion of its schedule.
GIRLS VARSITY
Three Forks 42, Drumond 23
The Lady Trojans started slow and the Lady Wolves feasted on the opportunity, out scoring the opposition 20-2 in the first eight minutes of play.
Kimber Parsons led the locals with 16 points, with Casey James adding five and Charlee Cline two.
Drummond hosts Anaconda Dec. 19.
Boys Junior Varsity
Three Forks 31, Drummond 4
Javi Ostler managed the only points for Drummond, scoring buckets in the second and fourth quarters.
Girls Junior Varsity
Drummond 44, Three Forks 3
The Lady Trojans JV played lights out defense and got its offense in gear to defeat the Lady Wolves.
Jacklyn Wetsch scored a game high 15 for Drummond, followed by teammate Casey James with 12.
